Janet has always had her hands full of tools. X-Acto knives, markers, paintbrushes, pencils - her childhood was spent making dollhouse furniture, model airplanes, coloring and drawing.
She has a special love for the mythological and the mysterious, those secret places that are only available to us when our heart is open. She finds inspiration in mythology, ancient symbols, astronomy, and the natural world. Bright colors, ancient symbols, intricate patterns and deep meaning are to be found in her work, the vehicle she uses to help nurture and care for the soul and its expression.
Janet believes that humans thrive on possibility, inspiration, and wonder and tries to incorporate as much of that magic elixir into her work as possible.
